The Boys & Girls Club of Central Arkansas celebrates its 100-year anniversary in central Arkansas in 2016. The Club, chartered in 1916, will use the 2016 Centennial to celebrate the achievements of the past 100 years, and educate the community on the future.

"As one of central Arkansas’s oldest youth service organizations, our 100 year anniversary is truly a milestone,” says Boys & Girls Club of Central Arkansas CEO, Cindy Doramus. "The impact we have made on this community and its members is remarkable and is evident in the stories of our alumni and current members. We are changing lives.”

To commemorate the anniversary, the Club will be hosting various events throughout 2016 to honor the organization’s history and build awareness for the Club’s plans for the future. "The Club experience of many of our alumni is not the Club experience of today, "says Tom Kane, President of the organizations Board of Directors. "We intend to begin this next 100 years focusing on the futures of our members and ensuring they have the resources they need to become successful and productive members of society.”
